Managing Super Alloy Work-Hardening
High-nickel alloys exhibit rapid work-hardening during cold-forming. Nexmek's super-alloy blades feature a specialized 'Progressive Penetration' geometry that distributes the deformation load over a larger area, preventing the brittle fracture of fins and minimizing the radial stress on the machine spindle.
- Proprietary multi-angle flank design to reduce friction on Inconel 625 & Hastelloy C-276
- Engineered for high-nickel (30-70%) content alloys under high pressure (1,000+ MPa / 145+ ksi)
- Maintains ±0.015mm (±0.0006") tolerance on fin height in work-hardened alloys
Super Alloy Performance Matrix
Our tooling is benchmarked against the most difficult-to-form alloys in the industrial sector.
